Day 1: Giza Pyramids Tour / Egyptian Museum / Coptic Cairo Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, then arriving at the Giza plateau, you will stand at the foot of the Great Pyramid of King Khufu, which was built by the king during his reign (2500 BC) thanks to the prosperity that Egypt achieved during that period, which is known as the golden period.
Or the construction period of the pyramids was marked by massive structures built for the kings and rulers of Egypt to operate as burial tombs and also played an essential role in the survival of the pharaoh’s name throughout history.
From here, continue to the upper plateau, where you will recognize the second pyramid of king khafre and have a spectacular view of the entire Giza plateau, including the pyramid of king menkaure with the three adjoining queen pyramids.
Continue your tour of the pyramids of Giza by driving to the Valley Temple, where the mummification process of the king took place as part of the funerary rituals; in front of the temple, the famous statue of a lion with the head of a man known as the Great Sphinx that lasted centuries as a guardian of the cemetery, we believe that this sphinx was carved for King khafre himself.
Your Cairo day trips continue to view the most extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts at the Egyptian Museum in the heart of downtown Cairo; the building itself is considered a monument, having been built over 200 years ago.
You will observe an incredible mix of artifacts dating back to different eras from the predynastic period through the early times of the old kingdom, the middle kingdom, and the new kingdom, which is designated by the occupation of pharaohs best known today as king Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Queen Hatshepsut. But the exhibits most exciting are those discovered in the early 20th century for the golden king Tutankhamun. The collection consists of huge sarcophagi, chariots, accessories, and the king’s mask.
Continue with an educational tour of Coptic Cairo, the place known as Coptic Cairo, where you will witness the oldest churches not only in the history of Egypt but also in the history of Christianity. It was created on the ruins of the Roman fortress of Babylon.
Some places were blessed by the residence of the Holy Family, such as the Hanging Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which was built suspended on two towers of the fortress, accompanied by the Church Sergius or Cave Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue, where the box of the baby prophet Moses is believed to have been taken from the water of the Nile.
Then You will go back to your hotel.
Day 2: from Cairo to Aswan
Have your excellent breakfast at your hotel and check out, then transfer to Cairo International Airport, about a 1-hour drive from Giza. You will take the flight to Aswan, which is a 1-hour flight. Upon arrival in Aswan, enjoy your time on board the boat and the Nubian folklore.

Every year then, you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple overlooking the Nile, which was built for the worship of the goddess Isis, wife of Osiris; according to the ancient Egyptian religion, continue your excursions from Aswan to the granite quarries where the pharaohs used to cut and transport vast blocks of stone that were used in the construction of the impressive pyramids of Egypt and the magnificent temples that the kings of the new kingdom built. Returning to the Nile cruise to start sailing towards Kom Ombo, then visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk.
Days 4: Edfu Temple / Excursions to Luxor
The Temple of Edfu contains some of the best architecture of the Ptolemaic period dedicated to Horus. How to add a new route through Egypt if you have more or less time?
You could include places like these if you have more time:
- Visit Alexandria Attractions: the country’s second-largest city and its excellent library. It’s only a couple of hours from Cairo so that you can see it all in one day.
- Take an overnight to the White Desert in Farafra Oasis: it has landscapes that look like they were taken from another planet.
- Visiting Siwa Oasis: is just 50 kilometers from the border with Libya, and it is one of the less-visited places in Egypt that you can stay on your way through the country. It’s a long way from Cairo, but it’s worth spending a few days seeing the historical sites and breathtaking scenery.
- A live-aboard cruise on the Red Sea: Divers can’t visit Egypt without spending a few days on a live-aboard cruise on the Red Sea. Most of the time, they last 3 or 7 nights and involve 3 or 4 dives daily.

The fastest way and not always the most expensive is by plane, and you will find airports in Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, and Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
