Taba Egypt
Taba is one of Egypt’s most popular tourist destinations for visitors to the Red Sea. It is, in fact, a favorite seaside resort for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.
Located a few hours away from Sharm El Sheik and Dahab, the small town of Taba overlooks the northern extremity of the Gulf of Aqaba, and is connected to the Jordanian city by ferries that leave from the port, Taba has breathtaking sea beds. Immersed you can admire tuna, stingrays, dolphins, turtles, and different varieties of sharks.
If you love water sports, in Taba you have the opportunity to try different types of activities: excursions on glass-bottomed boats to observe the seabed, snorkeling, diving, parachuting, and water skiing. There are numerous dive sites, where the coral reefs take on the most diverse shapes and colors. For lovers of relaxation, Taba has pristine beaches where you can spend moments of peace.
Like many of the resorts in Sinai, all around Taba is surrounded by desert. There, too, unique experiences await you: spending a night under the starry sky, taking a camel ride, and watching Bedouin dance shows. From Taba, many places in Sinai are within easy reach, including the colorful Canyon, St. Catherine’s Monastery, Dahab, Nuweiba, and Sharm.
