Itinerary

Pick up from the hotel in Cairo. Transfer to Dahshur, visit the Red Pyramid, named for the color of its inscriptions, built during the reign of Pharaoh of the Old Kingdom Seneferu, the father of Khufu. Visit the warped Pyramid, it is considered the first proper Pyramid, since until then all the Pyramids were stepped.

Return to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid, which is the most notable construction of the necropolis of Saqqara, south of the city of Memphis, and was the prototype of the pyramids of Giza and the remaining Egyptian pyramids.

Lunch at a typical local restaurant.

Finish the tour with a visit to one of the seven wonders of the world (the Pyramid of Cheops, the first and great Pyramid of King Khufu), the visit includes the other Pyramids of Giza: Khafre (the second Pyramid that is attributed to King Khafra, son of King Khufu) and Menkaure (the third and smallest Pyramid of King Menkaure, son of King Khafra and grandson of King Khufu); Sphinx (with its half body of a lion and half of a pharaoh) and Temple of the Valley ( built next to the Pyramid of Khafre).

  • All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
  • If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
