Itinerary

Day 1: Exploring Cairo

Your adventure begins as you depart from Hurghada International Airport, taking a short flight to Cairo.

Upon arrival in Cairo, our local Egyptologist guide will greet you at the airport, and you’ll embark on a journey through time and history.

Your first stop is the awe-inspiring Giza Plateau, where you’ll be spellbound by the colossal Pyramids of Giza – the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll also explore the enigmatic Sphinx, a mysterious guardian that has stood watch over the pyramids for millennia.

Next, you’ll visit the Egyptian Museum, home to an astounding collection of artifacts, including treasures, mummies, and countless relics that chronicle Egypt’s rich past.

Drive to Old Cairo, also known as Coptic Cairo, to explore the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus.

Day 2: Luxor – The Ancient City of Thebes

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll catch a flight from Cairo to Luxor, the former capital of Ancient Egypt, often referred to as “Thebes.”

Upon your arrival in Luxor, our Egyptologist guide will be waiting for you. Your day in Luxor will begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, a breathtaking archaeological site, where many pharaohs were laid to rest in intricately decorated tombs.

Explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to Egypt’s most famous female pharaoh. Its stunning terraces seem to blend seamlessly with the rocky cliffs that surround it.

Visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,400 years.

Your adventure continues with a visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, a colossal site with a vast array of temples, chapels, and pylons dedicated to various deities.

Transfer to Luxor International Airport for your return flight to Hurghada.

Optional Entry Tickets

All our packages and tours of Egypt do not include entrance fees to special archaeological sites such as visiting inside the pyramids, the Museum where the Solar Boat is located in the pyramid area, or to enter the Tutankhamun tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor.
If you wish to visit one or all of these areas, please contact us by email as soon as possible, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
